Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the delivery and installation services provided by Mobilia White Glove LLC (“Mobilia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including its associates and partners, to the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided
Mobilia provides white glove delivery and installation of furniture and similar items across the New York City metropolitan area, including but not limited to:

Residential and commercial deliveries

Unpacking, assembly, placement, and removal of packaging

Coordination with designers, building management, and other trades where necessary
2. Scheduling & Access

Services must be scheduled at least [48 hours] in advance.

The Client is responsible for ensuring elevator access, loading dock reservations, and any required permits.

If access is denied or delayed due to building restrictions, additional fees may apply.
3. Rates & Payment

Pricing is provided via formal estimate or service quote and is valid for [30] days.

Payment is due in full when the invoice is sent, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment via ACH or business check only. Credit cards are not accepted.

Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the estimated job value.

Mobilia reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety, or force majeure events without penalty.
5. Liability & Damages
-
Mobilia is fully insured and exercises the utmost care.

Any damages caused by Mobilia during handling or installation must be reported in writing within 24 hours of service completion.

Mobilia is not responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, or flaws inherent in delivered items.

Claims for damages are limited to the cost of repair or replacement, not exceeding the declared value of the affected item.
6. Storage

If delivery cannot be completed as scheduled due to Client or site readiness, storage charges may apply at a daily rate.

Mobilia is not a long-term storage facility and assumes no liability for items stored beyond 14 days without prior agreement.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:

Provide accurate details regarding building access, item dimensions, and special handling needs.

Ensure the space is ready for installation, including cleared pathways and placement instructions.

Inspect items immediately upon completion of service.
8. Insurance & Coverage
Mobilia carries General Liability and Cargo Insurance. Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests must be made at least 2 business days in advance. Additional insured parties can be added upon request.
9. Limitations
Mobilia does not handle:

Art, lighting fixtures, antiques, or other special or high-value items requiring conservation-level handling
-
Pianos, pool tables, or items requiring special licensing or structural modifications
Mobilia reserves the right to refuse service for unsafe or unreasonable requests.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in courts located in New York County, NY.
